Where to Read For Invincible season 1

 So Amazon just finished its first season an Invincible animated series based on the comic of the same name. So while I’d wait for the next week’s episode I found myself going back to the books. Now after reading through the first thirteen issues and getting through the main Omni-Man story I quickly realized that some of the storylines are from other issues past that main story.  So I kept reading and well this season has stories that go as far as to issue 37. So what would I recommend reading without spoiling season 2 if you want to experience it blind?  If you have to stay spoiler-free then stop at issue 24 and even then you will run into stories they have tease in the season finale. If you don’t care for spoilers then pick up Invincible Compendium Vol. 1 it covers issues 0 through 47 and will definitely cover stories in season two and possibly three. Before you run out and start to buy trade paperbacks be warned that the show changed things more than story order but they honestly make the show work better in my humble opinion.
